LIMA - TRUJILLO - CHICLAYO
DAY 1: LIMA Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Lima International Airport. Transfer to your Hotel. If your flight arrives in the morning then remainder of the day at your leisure.
DAY 2: LIMA Pick up from the Hotel to start a complete City Tour of three hours aprox. Where we will see its beautiful San Martin Square and the Main Square of Lima (Plaza Mayor). We will visit 2 Religious Art Museums: The Cathedral and the Church and Monastery of San Francisco de Asís, with its Library that is considered the second most important of Latin America, its beautiful Sacristy, The Main Cloister and the Catacombs that was the first cemetery of Lima. Then we will continue with the Residential and modern area of San Isidro and Miraflores.Finally, we will walk through the old town of Barranco where we will see the Bridge of the Sighs and the Central Square
Return to the Hotel.
DAY 3: LIMA - TRUJILLO Breakfast. Transfer to Lima’s Airport for the flight to Trujillo. On arrival transfer to your hotel. City Tour. Sightseeing will feature La Muralla Militar, Plazuela del Recreo, Palacio Iturregui, Casa Emancipación, La Merced Church, Marshall Orbegoso House, Mayorazgo de Facala’s House. Transfer to your hotel.
DAY 4: TRUJILLO - CHICLAYO Continental breakfast. Tour of Chan Chan, the largest pre-columbian mud city in the world. Also we will visit La Huaca Arco Iris, the best preserved of the Chimu temples. We will finish the tour with a visit to Huanchaco beach, a fishing and surfing village where you will find the famous narrow pointed fishing rafts known as caballitos de totora. The afternoon will be at your leisure. Transfer to the bus terminal. Trip to Chiclayo. Transfer to your hotel in Chiclayo.
DAY 5: CHICLAYO
Continental breakfast. This morning we will travel to Lambayeque, 11 Km north of Chiclayo, site of the famous Brüning museum. This museum houses a good collection of archeological artifacts from the Moche, Chavín and Vicus cultures and a new exhibit features finds from the newly discovered site of Lord of Sipan. Also you will visit the church of San Pedro from the Colonial Times, as well as La Casa de la Logia, which has the largest balcony in Peru. Return to your hotel.
DAY 6: CHICLAYO - LIMA Continental Breakfast. This morning we will visit Huaca Rajada, 33 km east of Chiclayo. Here you will find the tomb of the lord of Sipan and a fine site museum featuring photos and maps of excavations and replicas of some finds. Returning we will visit Pomalca, one of the main sugar producer of Peru. Transfer to Chiclayo’s airport for the flight to Lima. On arrival transfer to your hotel. Transfer to the Lima’s airport for your flight home.Weather:
