DAY 1: LIMA Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Lima International Airport. Transfer to your Hotel. If your flight arrives in the morning then remainder of the day at your leisure.
DAY 2: LIMA - PUERTO MALDONADO Breakfast. Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the Airport for your early morning flight to Puerto Maldonado. Transfer to the Airport to the Main Square of Puerto Maldonado, trip of the city and walk to the pier located on the river Madre de Dios (Mother of God). Embark in a motor driven canoe, traveling approximately for 45 minutes. Arrive at housing Cuzco Amazónico, located in the left side of the River Madre de Dios, facing the islands of the Turtles. Reception at housing complex. Lunch. Visit buildings and facilities that were built using native customs of the Machiguenga and Huarayo. Walk 2 hours near the jungle to see flora and fauna of the area. Typical food from the area is then served for dinner at the complex.
DAY 3: PUERTO MALDONADO Continental Breakfast. Cruise the River Madre De Dios in a motor driven canoe. Hike approximately 90 minutes through the forest using roads and trails toward the magnificent Lake Sandoval. Continue cruising on the Lake using rowing-canoe to observe the rich flora and fauna of the area. Return by foot to the River Madre De Dios to board another boat to continue your journey to visit the beached Fitzcarrald covered in vegetation. Return to housing. Lunch. In the afternoon visit a native farm to observe the varieties of fruit trees and plants. Return to housing. Dinner.
DAY 4: PUERTO MALDONADO - LIMA Continental breakfast. Return in canoe to the city of Puerto Maldonado. Arrive to the port and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Lima. On arrival transfer to your hotel. Transfer to the Lima’s Airport for your flight home.
