LIMA - AREQUIPA - CAÑON DEL COLCA

DAY 1: LIMA
Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Lima International Airport. Transfer to your Hotel. If your flight arrives in the morning then remainder of the day at your leisure.

DAY 2: LIMA
Miraflores - LimaPick up from the Hotel to start a complete City Tour of three hours aprox. Where we will see its beautiful San Martin Square and the Main Square of Lima (Plaza Mayor). We will visit 2 Religious Art Museums: The Cathedral and the Church and Monastery of San Francisco de Asís, with its Library that is considered the second most important of Latin America, its beautiful Sacristy, The Main Cloister and the Catacombs that was the first cemetery of Lima. Then we will continue with the Residential and modern area of San Isidro and Miraflores.Finally, we will walk through the old town of Barranco where we will see the Bridge of the Sighs and the Central Square

Return to the Hotel.

DAY 3: LIMA - AREQUIPA
Breakfast. Pick up from your Hotel. Transfer to Lima International Airport. Arrive in Arequipa, reception and transfer to your Hotel. Morning at your leisure. In the afternoon visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Cloisters, Churches and beautiful domes of La Compañia de Jesus church, colonial district of Yanahuara with a magnificent view of the Misti volcano. Then we will enter the Santa Catalina´s Monastery, considered as only in their gender in South America. It was founded in 1580 and recently open to the public in 1970. It possesses narrow squares and gardens with Spanish names that remind us of the old neighborhoods in Seville and Granada, Spain.

Santa Calina MonasteryDAY 4: AREQUIPA - COLCA’S VALLEY
Breakfast. Early in the morning, we leave for the Colca Valley, taking the road that ascends and border the outskirts of the Chachani Volcano. While on the road, we will cross La Reserva Nacional de Vicuñas de Pampa Cañahuas and the small towns of Vizcachani and Sumbay. Then we will visit Sibayo, a town that still preserves Incan and Colonial architecture. Here, we admire the Incan terraces and the valley. Lunch Boxes. Afterwards, we embark to visit the thermal baths of the Valera. Lodging.

DAY 5: COLCA’S VALLEY - AREQUIPA
Breakfast. Early Morning we leave to see the largest flying bird in the world: The condor. Transfer to your hotel in Arequipa.

DAY 6: AREQUIPA - LIMA
Breakfast. Transfer to Arequipa Airport for the flight to Lima: On arrival transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at your leisure. Transfer to the Lima’s Airport for your flight home.
